Shiny Pig

Shiny Pigs are mobs that spawn around some locations in the Hub due to Mayor Technoblade's perk Shrine of the Blood God. They were also present during the 3rd, 4th and 5th SkyBlock Anniversaries. They can be clicked on with Shiny Orbs to receive various rewards after returning them to the orbs.

Catching

Clicking a Shiny Pig while holding a Shiny Orb will launch the pig a short distance away while the orb hovers in place where it was clicked. The pig must be returned to its associated orb, either by hitting it or making it walk there (it will walk away from the player who owns it). Once done, the pig will disappear and charge the orb, allowing it to be clicked for a reward. Only the player that the used orb belongs to may claim a prize from it.

A Shiny Pig that goes 90 seconds without returning to its associated Shiny Orb will despawn alongside the orb without giving any loot. The Shiny Orb will not be refunded.

A single player may own up to two Shiny Pigs at once, but each will only charge the specific Shiny Orb they were clicked with.

Loot

There are 17 possible rewards obtainable by bringing Shiny Pigs back to Shiny Orbs. The list of rewards is available on Shiny Orb.

Tips

It's recommended to use the Knockback Enchantment or a Shiny Rod to lead Shiny Pigs to Shiny Orbs more effectively.

Bugs

Shiny Pigs can occasionally phase through blocks and fly to sections of the map that are unreachable when clicked with a Shiny Orb.
Shiny Pigs used to be able to be killed with an Aspect of the Dragons.
Using Fishing Rods, or the Punch II Enchantment, it's possible to cause knockback to other players' Shiny Pigs, which is normally impossible.
The two side arrows from the Runaan's Bow will target Shiny Pigs.
If enchanted with Fire Aspect, Shiny Pigs can take indirect damage from the Flower of Truth's projectiles.

Trivia

Shiny Pigs are considered enemies since the Shadow Fury's ability teleports to them.
