The Silent Death has a 4% chance to be obtained from killing a Shadow Assassin.

Usage

The Silent Death is a melee weapon. Players must be  Catacombs 20 or higher to be able to use this weapon.

Its ability teleports the player behind the enemy they are looking at, up to 20 blocks away. Upon teleport, the player gains +25 ❁ Strength for 10 seconds. The ability has a 60-second cooldown, which can be reset on killing an enemy with any weapon, and does not cost ✎ Mana.

It can be salvaged for 5 Wither Essence.

Trivia

• The ability is the same as the Enderman class's skill from Mega Walls, although it shares the name of Assassin's first passive (the difference being that Assassin's ability is activated when hit rather than on demand).
• The ability, "Shadowstep", refers to World of Warcraft Subtlety Rogue ability, which does nearly the same thing except it gives speed instead of strength.
• The Livid Dagger's backstab bonus damage works with the teleport.
• The Shadow Assassin Armor's ability is activated upon use.
• Unlike the Shadow Fury, the Silent Death does not freeze the enemies in their position upon teleporting.
• The F7 version has similar stats and damage as a Livid Dagger.
• A Silent Death paired with a Pig Pet, preferably with a Stonk or a Golden Pickaxe, can cheese the Bomb Defuse puzzle.
