The pet's movement is made server-side, which can create input lag with a higher ping.
The Skeleton Horse Pet was the first pet added into the game, added via update 0.7.3 .
The Snowman Pet was the second pet in the game, added via update 0.7.5 . The other pets were added during 0.7.6, 0.7.8, and 0.8.1
It used to be possible for players who abused bugs in the Skeleton Horse Pet to have their pet removed and be prevented from ever earning it again on that profile.
