The skills menu
There are twelve Skills in Hypixel SkyBlock, which are automatically leveled up based on the actions performed by a player.
In order to gain XP for a specific Skill, players need to perform tasks corresponding to a Skill. For example, to level up Mining, the player would need to mine blocks. Players can also level up their Skills by collecting resources from their Minions for a reduced amount of XP.
Leveling up Skills provides rewards and also permanently increases various player Stats, as well as SkyBlock XP. For example, leveling up 
Farming gives the player coins and increases their ❤ Health.
The player's Skill level can be seen by opening the SkyBlock Menu and going to "Skills" (displayed as a Diamond Sword).
This also displays average Skill level, across all skills except 
Social, 
Runecrafting and 
Dungeoneering.

- +210% Damage dealt to mobs (from Combat)

Skill XP Boost Potions[]
When these Potions are splashed or consumed, they allow the player to get ☯ Wisdom, which grants an increase in Skill Experience. Depending on its level, they can last for 12, 24, or 36 minutes. Pets are also affected because they constantly gain a quarter of any Skill XP.

Trivia[]
- The cumulative leveling rewards for all eight main skills through level 50 include 9,644,400 coins.
- Once the player maxes out a skill, the skill counter when the player earns XP for that skill will show that the next level requires 0 XP.
- E.g. Earning +1 XP will display "+1/0"
- Players can also acquire certain pets to boost a certain type of skill. These include using a Rabbit Pet for the Farming skill, using a Silverfish Pet for the Mining skill, using a Wolf Pet for the Combat skill, using a Squid Pet for Fishing skill, using an Ocelot Pet for the Foraging skill and using a Guardian Pet for the Enchanting skill.
- Currently, there is no pet to use for increasing Alchemy experience.
- Due to how quickly one can level up a guardian pet, it is recommended to get one of rare rarity or higher for a boost to your enchanting xp gains, as well as quick and easy pet xp.
- Players don't get XP from killing mobs on their Private Island.
- A 20% Skill XP boost, together with a +10 ✯ Magic Find boost, was active between March 2020 and October 20, 2020.
- The boost was for the COVID-19 pandemic. It was originally intended to last for only a short time.
- The Social skill was leaked by [HELPER] Caameroon at around 1:50 PM EDT on Nov. 9th, 2020.
- The player "Linman" was the first to achieve all Level 50 skills and thus was also the first player to achieve 50 Skill Average
- From June 23rd to July 2nd, 2021, during SkyBlock Year 144-146, a 2x Skill XP was active, due to Hypixel being in maintenance mode a few days before.
- The rest of the games had 3x experience, but SkyBlock didn't follow that due to fears that it would unbalance the game.
