SkyBlock Anniversary

Not to be confused with New Year Celebration, which celebrates a new SkyBlock year.

The SkyBlock Anniversary is a recurring event that celebrates the real-life anniversary of when SkyBlock was released to Hypixel. During the event, an NPC named Simon gives out Hatcessories in the Hub.

1st SkyBlock Anniversary: Party Time![]

Party Time! was the first SkyBlock Anniversary event. It started on June 10, 2020 at 11:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time and lasted for 24 hours.

Simon handed Crab Hat of Celebration at the Event Stand (behind the Bank) at 35, 71, -48.
The event was called 1st Party Time.

2nd SkyBlock Anniversary[]

The 2nd SkyBlock Anniversary occurred in year 2021.

There was no event or buffs.

3rd SkyBlock Anniversary[]

The 3rd SkyBlock Anniversary occurred in year 2022. It started on June 10, 2022 at 6:35 PM EDT and lasted for 7 days (168 hours).

Simon handed the Crab Hat of Celebration in the Hub to players.
The Pig Shop and Shiny Pig features were available to players.
A temporary 15% buff to Skill Experience for all players.

4th SkyBlock Anniversary[]

The 4th SkyBlock Anniversary occurred in year 2023. It started on June 12, 2023 at 6:15 PM EDT and lasted for 7 days (168 hours).

Simon handed the Sloth Hat of Celebration in the Hub to players.
The Pig Shop and Shiny Pig features were available to players, including a replacement for the Dante Talisman.
A temporary 20% buff to Skill Experience for all players.

Hypixel also released a video named "4 Years of SkyBlock", and it was made available on Sunday, June 11 at 18:00 (UTC).

5th SkyBlock Anniversary[]

The 5th SkyBlock Anniversary occurred in year 2024. It started on June 11, 2024 at 11:55 AM EDT and lasted for 7 days (168 hours).

Simon handed out the 5th Anniversary Balloon Hat in the Hub to players.
The Pig Shop and Shiny Pig features were available to players.
A temporary 20% buff to Skill and Dungeon Experience for all players.

Trivia[]

In 2020, Party Time! was revealed in the Calendar 24 hours before it started.
There was no event in 2021.
For the 2022 event, Simon is situated next to the Colosseum at 76, 69, -44.
The 2022 event was originally scheduled to end on June 12, but it was extended to June 17.
- At the same time as this change, the event was brought to the ☀ Stranded Gamemode.
The first time that the Skyblock Anniversary and Century Celebration event will overlap will be on June 12th 2077 of real life time, in the SkyBlock Year 4100, and it will theoretically happen again every 58 years.
For the 2024 event, Simon is situated next to the Bazaar at -21, 69, -78.
The boost to Skill Experience from this event is applied as a multiplier after all other modifiers are calculated, including Champion, Wisdom stats, and presumably Derpy's MOAR SKILLZ!!! perk.
