Snow Minion is a type of Minion that produce and collect  Snowball. They are a SWEET! reward from opening Gifts. Like  Flower Minions, Snow Minions do not have a Collection and thus Tier 1 minions cannot be crafted.

Snow Minions are obtained from opening Gifts. The chance of obtaining a Snow Minion for each type of Gift is listed below.

Usage

• Although Snow Minions are the fastest non tier-11 minion in Hypixel SkyBlock, they are just used as a method of gaining  Mining skill xp.
• It is not recommended to use Snow Minions for Coins like  Clay Minions, but they have the capability to generate a little more coins.
• If the player uses an  Enchanted Lava Bucket, a  Diamond Spreading, and a  Compactor or  Super Compactor 3000 then it will generate 2,492 coins every hour when sold to NPC and quite a bit more (unless a  Super Compactor 3000 is used) to the Bazaar.
•  Diamond Spreadings pair extremely well with the Snow Minion, providing a still subpar money method as  Diamonds can be sold to the bazaar or NPC.
• Use a  Medium Storage or  Large Storage as this minion fills up much faster than  Clay Minions, even with a  Super Compactor 3000.
• Players who don't check the minion often enough should consider using  Budget Hoppers or  Enchanted Hoppers since they automatically sell extra minion outputs for a portion of the NPC sell price (50% for budget, 90% for enchanted).

Super Compactor vs Compactor

• When sold to the Bazaar, normal  Snow Blocks will sell for more than  Enchanted Snow Blocks when comparing their price per  Snowball, meaning if each  Snow Block sells for 7 coins and each  Enchanted Snow Block sells for 591 coins (these values can very well change), each  Snowball will cost 3 coins if selling  Snow Blocks but costs <1 coin if selling  Enchanted Snow Blocks.
• However, using  Super Compactor 3000s will allow the minion to fill up much slower, as using  Compactors overnight will often result in a full minion by morning. Also, if a  Super Compactor 3000 is used, remember to take out only the  Enchanted Snow Blocks and NOT the  Snowballs; otherwise, the player's inventory will fill up very fast.
• Snow Minions are incredibly cheap to upgrade, costing only 2 stacks of  Enchanted Snow Blocks for the final upgrade, and one costs a mere 150,000 coins to upgrade from tier 1 to tier 11.
• Snow Minions can also be a good source of  Mining XP to level up the Mining Skill.  64x Enchanted Snow Blocks provide around 4,000  Mining XP and therefore are considered one of the best ways to gather large quantities of it.
• When selling  Snow Blocks and  Diamonds, make sure to sell the  Diamonds to a Merchant as diamonds often goes for very little in the Bazaar. As for  Snow Blocks, if  Enchanted Snow Block sells for more than 600 coins (currently: 545 coins^ⓘ) and if normal  Snow Block sells for more than 4 coins (currently: 1.3 coins^ⓘ) in the Bazaar, sell it there. Otherwise, sell the  Snow Blocks in NPC too.

Tips

• The Snow Minion is the minion that gives the second most  Mining XP behind  Ice, which was really useful since manually grinding mining without a good Mining gear or have Cole as mayor with 1.5x Mining XP on public islands used to be extremely inefficient. With the introduction of ⏣ Dwarven Mines,  Mining XP is much easier to grind, making Snow Minion not as important.
• The trade price for a Snow Minion is usually around 1,000,000 coins for a t11, but it's often quite popular due to the very inexpensive cost of upgrading from t1 to t11 and the high market value for t11 Snow Minions.
• Before the Bazaar Update, this was the best minion for money, as everyone just sold the minion's products to NPCs. However, since the Bazaar Update, a lot of minions, especially Slayer Minions and minions which produce items in high demand, are consistently over twice as good as  Snow Block in terms of profitability.
• Due to how fast the Snow Minion's action time is, a Snow Minion with a  Diamond Spreading produces more  Diamonds than a  Diamond Minion.
• Since it is not crafted with a  Wooden Pickaxe, this minion does not get affected by the 25% mining minion speed buff from mayor Cole.
•  992x Snow Blocks and  248x Enchanted Snow Blocks are needed to upgrade this minion from Tier 1 to Tier 11.
• Using a Tier 11 Snow Minion with a  Super Compactor 3000,  Enchanted Lava Bucket, and  Diamond Spreading, the Snow Minion generates around 60,000 coins per day.
• Since it is a very good source of  Mining XP, it is recommended to have a partial Snow Minion setup if the player does not want to mine manually.
