Soul String is a guaranteed drop from Arachne if the player deals at least 1 damage to it. The amount of Soul String dropped is dependent on the damage placement of the player and the level of the boss. Lv300 Arachne drops 5-6 if the player's damage placement is 1st-6th, and 1 if the player deals more than 1 damage, + the amount of Arachne's Callings the player placed. Lv500 Arachne drops 30-32 if the player places 1st-6th in damage dealt to it, and 1-3 if the player deals more than 1 damage to it. If the player placed the Arachne Crystal, they receive 12 extra Soul String.
