The player has a 0.767% base chance to fish up 16xSpiked Bait when fishing in water. This can be doubled to yield 32xSpiked Bait with the BlessingEnchantment or when using Blessed Bait.
When on the Crimson Isle, this figure is raised to a 2.3438% chance but is further decreased on the Winter Island to 0.4839%.
Spiked Bait can be kept in either the player's inventory or Fishing Bag. When casting a Fishing Rod, a Spiked Bait will be consumed to grant +6α Sea Creature Chance. The effects last until the player reels in their rod.
