Usage[]
The weapon requires The Catacombs - Floor IV completion to use.
When the Guided Bat ability is used, a Bat will shoot towards the direction the player is facing. The Bat can be guided by the players crosshairs. Upon impact, the bat will create an explosion with a radius of 6 blocks, dealing damage based on ✎ Intelligence and Ability Damage to all mobs hit by the explosion.

The Spirit Sceptre can be converted into a ⚚ Spirit Sceptre using 
Thorn Fragments to buff its stats.

Trivia[]
- Its ability, along with Wither Impact, has the 2nd highest explosion radius of any ability, at 6 blocks. The highest is the Skeleton Hat.
- Bats spawned by the item ability are buffed by the Bat Person Talisman, Ring, and Artifact.
- One notable use of the Spirit Sceptre is spinning around while firing, in order to form a mass of bats and targeting them at enemies when required. This deals a burst of damage which can take down high-health enemies quickly.
- The Spirit Sceptre resembles the Bat Scepter from Terraria. Both shoot Bats that drain mana to use. However, the Bat Sceptre automatically homes in onto enemies, unlike the Spirit Sceptre which homes in at the location the player is facing.
- The Spirit Sceptre is likely connected with the Spirit Sword and Bonemerang.
- Because the Spirit Sceptre follows your view, it can be used to defeat Bonzo/Scarf as Watcher Summons without them aggroing on you.
