Dungeon Mobs spawn inside of Dungeons. They are enemies who range from weak to strong, and must be killed in order to progress through the dungeon floor. Upon death, they have a chance to drop their respective Dungeon gear.

Dungeon Mob Spawning[]

All Dungeon Mobs spawn only inside Dungeons, whether they spawn naturally or are summoned.

Standard enemies spawn in groups in brown rooms. Some of those enemies will have a yellow star next to their names. When the last mob with a star in the room is killed, it will drop a Wither Key, Blood Key, Blessing, Revive Stone and/or Superboom TNT, as well as marking the room as complete. The more of the Dungeon is explored, the higher the health of the spawned mobs.

All Dungeon Mobs have magic damage resistance: 10% for melee mobs, 30% for ranged mobs, and 50-80% for magic mobs such as Withermancer.

Additionally, each non-boss mob has a small chance to spawn as Flaming, Stormy, Speedy, Fortified or Healthy (e.g. a Healthy Tank Zombie can spawn). Flaming causes the mob's melee attacks to set the victim on fire(the fire isn't negated by Fire Talisman or Fire Resistance potion effect); Stormy lets it strike lightning on nearby players, dealing True Damage; Speedy allows the mob to move much faster; Fortified increases the mob's ❈ Defense; and Healthy increases its maximum ❤ Health. These modifiers may appear and stack with the Runic modifier.

Mobs spawned by The Watcher on Floor 5 and above have some unique modifiers. Boomer makes them drop a block of primed TNT on death, which kills anyone within range instantly, and drop Superboom TNT after the explosion; Golden increases their ❈ Defense and makes them drop Gold Essence on death; Healthy increases their ❤ Health and makes them drop Healing Tissue on death; Stealth makes them invisible except for their name tags, armor, and weapons; and Speedy increases their speed and drop Dungeon Potions relative to the floor they are spawned in.

Certain mobs, especially bosses and mini-bosses, also have a damage cap mechanic similar to that of the Magma Cube Boss. Any damage it takes above its threshold is reduced by a large amount.

Once dead, revives and begins to attack players with a melee attack and Bonzo's Staff. Occasionally they will run to the center of the arena, unleash a strong barrage of balloons in all directions and say "SHOWTIME!" in chat.
Scarf
Scarf BOSS Apprentice Necromancer Intermediate The Catacombs - Floor II 1M 375M

Phase 1: Scarf is surrounded by a barrier. to break the barrier, players must defeat all Scarf's undeads: the Mage, Archer, Warrior and Priest.

It is recommended to kill the Priest first, as he can heal all other undeads.

Phase 2: Scarf revives all his Undeads and fights alongside them. Scarf possesses two abilities: a Soul Sand blizzard that deals true damage and slows all players caught in the barrage, and a Skull Barrage attack that launches a massive amount of wither skulls to all nearby players.

The Professor
Elder Guardian
The Professor BOSS Professor Medium The Catacombs - Floor III Phase 2: 3M (effective 2.7M)

Phase 1: Like Scarf, the Professor is surrounded by a barrier. to break this barrier, players must kill all of the Professor's Guardians. They must be killed within 10 seconds of each other, otherwise the Professor revives the defeated Guardians.

Phase 2: The Professor fights players them self, having the ability of being able to summon a Prismarine Blizzard, dealing damage and slowing players down. Once players have brought them down to 750k health, they proceeds to the final phase.

Phase 3: The Professor absorbs all of the Guardians and becomes a Guardian themselves. In this stage, the Professor gains the Giga Heal and TNT Rain abilities and floats around the arena.

Thorn
Thorn BOSS Shaman Necromancer Tough The Catacombs - Floor IV 300k

(4 Hits Required)

600k (6 Hits Required) Flies around the room and summons up to 100 spirit animals. When enough are killed a Spirit Bear will spawn dropping a Spirit Bow. The Bow is the only way to damage Thorn and will break after being shot.
Livid
Livid BOSS Master Necromancer Hard The Catacombs - Floor V 7M

600M per clone Creates many clones and fights alongside them. Each clone has a differently colored name tag and has certain unique attacks, but is otherwise indistinguishable from the others. Players must kill the 'real' Livid to win. If the 'wrong' Livid is killed, all others are healed and the 'wrong' one revives after a short time.
Sadan
Sadan BOSS Necromancer Lord Extremely Hard The Catacombs - Floor VI 40M 800M Phase 1: Players must survive the Terracottas until his interest level depletes.

Phase 2: Sadan drops 4 Giants into the field, each giant has a unique ability. Players must kill all of the Giants to proceed to the final phase.

Phase 3: Sadan raises his ultimate corpse and becomes one with the giant. He gains all the abilities of the phase 2 giants.

A single Mini-Boss can spawn in certain brown rooms, or alone in the yellow room. Mini-Boss in the yellow room will have increased health and damage.

Wither skeleton
Withermancer 4+ A Wither Skeleton with 90% Magic Damage resistance. Casts a wither skull at players. The wither skull lasts 10 seconds, follows players through walls until it hits or the caster is killed, and can stack up with other wither skulls. Also has a weak melee attack. Conjuring
Skeletor
Skeletor 3-6 Is created by three defeated Skeletons merging on Floors 3 and 6 (50%) and 4 and 5 (100%). Attacks the player with its melee attack and occasionally throws a bone like the Crypt Lurker. Skeletor Armor

Skeletor Prime 6+ Is created by three defeated skeletons merging on Floor 6 (50%) and 7 (100%). They deal considerably more damage than normal Skeletors. Skeletor Armor

Super Archer 4+ A strong Skeleton. Its arrows have a chance to bounce to another target.

It is seen wearing Bouncy armor on floor 4 and not any of the higher floors.

Fels
Fels 5+ Spawns when a player walks near an Enderman Head on the floor. They act like normal Endermen but cannot teleport, can be hit by arrows, and are not damaged by water. Fel Pearl

Silverfish
Deathmite 3+ Can be found only in the trap room and in a specific room inside a tomb. Deals 1,000,000 damage on a single hit. Defeating Death achievement (One time)
Blaze
Blaze 2+ Spawns only in the Blaze Puzzle room. They are passive and won't attack the player. None
Bat-0
Bat All Can be found as secrets inside of Dungeons. Drop either dungeon loot or a blessing when killed. Requires to be killed to clear the room completely. Loot or blessing
Prince
Prince All Spawns when a special tomb is blown up with Superboom TNT. They always have 60,000 Health regardless of floor, and always drop Revive Stones. Revive Stone

Fairy

The Watcher Undeads[]

These mobs are spawned by the Watcher in the Blood Room after it is opened. They have high Defense and attack with swords and bows. On floors 2 and above, they gain their respective special perks.

Mr. Dead 2+ Gains Strength for every Undead near it.

Vader 2+ Deals True Damage.

Frost 4 Slows players they attack.

Walker 2+ Faster than other Undeads.
Player Skin Wandering Soul All Spawns if a player dies during The Watcher fight or was dead when it began. Upon death, it revives that player.
Bonzo
Bonzo 3+ Acts like a stronger version of his second phase with more health and higher damage. When under half health, will use his balloon attack constantly.
Scarf
Scarf 4+ Acts like a stronger version of his second phase. Gains more health on higher floors.
Livid
Livid 6+ Acts like a stronger version. Gains more health on higher floors.
Zombie
Giant 7 Acts as one of the randomly chosen Sadan's Giants with their unique perk. Health is randomized, and can have an upwards of nearly 60M when stacked with the Healthy Modifier.

Chicken
Spirit Chicken 350k 3M Slowly descends to the ground, attacking nearby players with lightning. If it touches the ground, it will turn into a Chicken Mine. Players who walk over it take damage and are knocked into the air.
Sheep
Spirit Sheep 650k 10M Runs toward the player and explodes much like a creeper. Deals damage based on how close the player was to the explosion.
Spirit Bear
Spirit Bear 5M 150M A Mini-Boss Thorn summons during his fight. It acts like a regular Mini-Boss, except it can't heal and strafes a lot. Upon death it will drop a Spirit Bow which is used to damage Thorn.
Livid Enderman Clone
Livid Enderman Clone 7M 600M Livid Copies of Livid that each have their own unique perk. 8 such copies spawn in the Livid boss fight. Upon death, they heal all other Livids and are revived after a short time.
Terracotta
Terracotta 12M 250M Sadan Spawns in the first stage of Sadan's boss fight. Attacks players with the Flower of Truth's melee and ranged attacks. Upon death, they turn into flower pots on the ground and are revived after a short time.
Endstone Protector
Sleeping Golem 1 1 Found in the center of Sadan's arena, can be defeated to spawn a Woke Golem.
Woke Golem 20M 300M A powerful, agile Golem that can deal heavy damage. Has a chance to drop 1 Ancient Rose.
The Diamond Giant
The Diamond Giant 25M Do not spawn Deals heavier damage with the Sword of 10,000 Truths. Can throw the sword to do range damage.
Bigfoot
Bigfoot 25M Do not spawn Can stomp dealing damage to anyone in the vicinity. The damage dealt is higher the closer the player is to the stomp.
L.A.S.R.
L.A.S.R. 25M Do not spawn Can shoot a never-miss laser beam.
Jolly Pink Giant
Jolly Pink Giant 25M Do not spawn Can throw damage-dealing boulders.
The Giant One
Mutant Giant 40M 600M Have the abilities of the 4 Giants.
Wither Miner

Storm

Attacks players with its pickaxe and occasionally launches Withermancer skulls. Shoots out harmful wither skulls upon its death.
Wither Guard (Catacombs)
Wither Guard 4M Attacks players with its bow which shoots flaming arrows. It has extremely high range.
Necron's Apostle
Necron's Apostle 14M Attacks players and occasionally launches Withermancer skulls. Has high resistance to magic damage. Shoots out harmful skulls upon its death. It is much stronger than a Wither Miner.

Trivia[]

  • Skeleton Masters deal a flat amount of ✷ True Damage, contrary to popular belief that they deal a percentage of their enemies' health.
  • The highest-health normal Dungeon mob (except Deathmite) is the Zombie Lord.
  • Bats which die of non-player causes (to fire, lava or other mobs) do not grant their secret.
  • Skeletor and Skeletor Prime may be a reference to Terraria, from Skeletron and Skeletron Prime.
  • Terracotta, Livid and Bonzo had OptiFine capes for a brief period of time.
    • Terracotta had a cape of the transgender flag. Reddit user u/LappySheep purchased the cape.
      • The transgender flag used for the Terracotta was slightly different from the flag used on the Yeti.
    • Livid had a cape of the flag of India. On February 5, 2021, Reddit user u/TeamSyringe purchased the cape.
    • Bonzo had a cape of the non-binary flag. Player stepsister___ purchased the cape.
    • On February 7, 2021, the capes were removed with a patch.
