Trivia[]

  • Unlike the Wolf Pet, the Tarantula's  Combat XP buff only increases XP gained from Spiders. However, the ability is noticeably stronger and, along with the other abilities, it's the ideal pet to use for Spider Slayer.
  • The Tarantula Pet is the only pet in the game where its EPIC and LEGENDARY variants can be obtained from two completely different sources. The Magma Cube Pet is similar, but differs in rarity.
  • If the player already has a EPIC Tarantula Pet in their pets menu when they obtain a LEGENDARY one from Arachne, their existing pet's rarity will be upgraded. This is a unique mechanic that so far isn't used for any other pet drops.
  • The Tarantula Pet uses the public head texture "Blood Spider".
