It is one of 5 crafting ingredients obtained by combining its raw material 3 times ( Ender Pearl, Enchanted Ender Pearl, Absolute Ender Pearl, Tesselated Ender Pearl). The others are the Refined Diamond, the Tightly-Tied Hay Bale, the Omega Enchanted Egg, and the Diamond Magmafish.
Its item ID TESSELLATED_ENDER_PEARL was spelt with 2 "L"s, whereas its name "Tesselated Ender Pearl" was displayed with 1 "L". The word "Tesselated" is misspelled, actually being "Tessellated", hence the incident.
It can be crafted before the Absolute Ender Pearl can be crafted. This is one of the only cases where a crafting item can be crafted before its predecessor.
Despite needing stacked Tesselated Ender Pearls in the crafting recipe of Terminator, it was unstackable until a recent patch.
Its texture is a recolored version of Absolute Ender Pearl.
