⏣ The Garden is an island where players can farm. It is similar to the Private Island in that each player has their own and they can build on it. The player must be SkyBlock Level 5 to access The Garden.

The menu can be accessed with /gardenlevels, /gardenlevelsmenu (both of which can only be accessed while on the Garden), or by going to the Farming Skill menu, where the icon is located at the bottom of the menu, above the "Go Back" and "Close" buttons. It can only be accessed after the player has visited the Garden at least once.
Unlike Skills, there is no "Level 0", meaning that the player starts at Garden I. Additionally, Level 1 is automatically unlocked when visiting the Garden for the first time after it is unlocked (reaching SkyBlock Level 5). Also, there are only 15 levels ( Garden I – Garden XV).
Crops[]
Different crops can be grown and harvested in ⏣ The Garden, but require a Garden level to do so. Nether Wart and Mushroom growth speed is also increased in the Garden, on top of the increase in growth speed gained by Garden level.
Crop Growth[]
Crops in The Garden do not require light to grow at maximum speed since the 0.18.3 update, but they do require water. Crops will not grow at all on completely dry soil (even with Bone Meal or Enchanted Bone Meal), and will receive a 40% growth speed debuff on soil that is not fully moist.
Pests[]
Pests are Mobs that have a chance of appearing whenever a Player breaks a crop in ⏣ The Garden. There are 10 types of pests that can spawn. When 4 or more pests are on The Garden, a Player's ☘ Farming Fortune will decrease up to 8 pests. ☘ Farming Fortune can be restored by capturing the pests. Pests can also be exchanged at Pesthunter Phillip for temporary ☘ Farming Fortune.
The Desk[]
The Desk is a key feature of ⏣ The Garden, which can be found in the Barn. It allows the player to configure Plots, add Crop Upgrades, access SkyMart, view Crop Milestones, and view and change the Barn's Skin. It can also be opened using the /desk
command (only works while in ⏣ The Garden).
The cost of your garden plots that you may have will likely be different than the ones shown above in the UI. This is because the costs shown in the above UI are if the plots are bought in numerical order. The cost of a plot depends on the "tier" of the plot and how many plots you have already unlocked in that "tier", not the plot number. The "tier" of a specific plot is determined by its Garden Level requirement, which can either be 1, 3, 5, or 7. In addition, the cost(s) for all remaining plot(s) that have not been unlocked in a specific tier will all be the same, unlike the UI above, where the plot costs are all different. This means that if n plots have been bought in a single tier, the cost for every other plot in the tier will be cost of the nth plot of the tier, shown above in the UI.
For example, if Plots 1, 2, and 3 were bought, Plot 4 will cost Compost x8. But if Plots 1 and 3 were only bought, the costs for both Plots 2 and 4 will be Compost x4, as that is the cost in the UI for Plot 3, after two "Tier 1" plots have already been bought. The costs for plots in other tiers will remain unaffected, as they are only affected by other plots in their "tier".
Composter[]
The Composter is a feature that allows the player to turn crops and other Organic Matter into Compost. It requires Machine Fuel such as Biofuel to operate. It can create 1 Compost every 10 minutes, with each Compost requiring 4000 Organic Matter and 2000 ♢ Fuel.
Plots[]
The Garden has 24 Plots in a 5x5 grid, with the Barn in the middle. Each plot is 96x96 blocks. To unlock a plot, the player has to spend Compost or Compost Bundles at the Desk. There is also a Garden Level requirement. After unlocking the plot, it needs to be cleaned. Sam's Scythe or a Garden Scythe can be used to break plants faster. Leaves will decay once the plot is over 70% clean. Breaking the following blocks on the plot counts towards cleaning progress:
- Dirt and Grass Blocks above ground level
- Stone
- Flowers
- Long Grass
- Double Tallgrass
- Wood
- Leaves
After cleaning the plot, the player can paste a preset onto it at the Desk, which will overwrite the blocks on the plot. The player can use default presets for crops, which use the specific crop's corresponding "seed" item. The seeds can be obtained through the Bazaar if the player has a Booster Cookie active, or from the player's inventory and Sacks. The player can also save plots as custom presets, which will only paste non-crop blocks and will not drop blocks broken by the player.
Melon slices and Pumpkin blocks in the player's inventory will be automatically converted to seeds. Enchanted forms of crops can also be used to paste plots, and the difference will be refunded into the player's inventory once pasting is done. (Note: While this is supposed to work with sacks too, it currently only works with crops in the player's inventory.)
The cost to unlock plots is given in the table below. Each plot gives +3 ☘ Farming Fortune and +5 SkyBlock XP.
Crop Upgrades[]
Crop Upgrades increase the player's ☘ Farming Fortune while harvesting certain crops. Each crop can be upgraded at the Desk for Copper, and each upgrade grants +5 ☘ Farming Fortune.
Level | Requirement | Cost | Cumulative Cost |
---|---|---|---|
Tier I | Garden II (2) | 5 Copper | 5 Copper |
Tier II | Garden IV (4) | 10 Copper | 15 Copper |
Tier III | Garden VI (6) | 20 Copper | 35 Copper |
Tier IV | Garden VIII (8) | 50 Copper | 85 Copper |

Tier VI | Garden XII (12) | 500 Copper | 685 Copper |
Tier VII | Garden XIII (13) | 1,000 Copper | 1,685 Copper |
Tier VIII | Garden XIV (14) | 2,000 Copper | 3,685 Copper |
Tier IX | Garden XV (15) | 4,000 Copper | 7,685 Copper |
Visitors[]
Visitors are NPCs across SkyBlock that occasionally visit the player's Garden. They offer the player a trade in exchange for Farming XP, Garden XP, Copper, Bits, and sometimes other unique rewards. Trades can be accepted or declined.
A new Visitor will arrive in the Garden after a specific interval of time, which has a base value of 15 minutes. The amount of time is decreased as the player makes more trades with unique Visitors. This is decreased to 12 minutes if the player has served at least 50 unique visitors.
Farming crops decreases the amount of time until the next visitor arrives by 3x. In addition, Finnegan's Blooming Business perk reduces it by 25%.
Visitors will stay in the Garden until the player accepts or declines their offer. A maximum of 5 Visitors can be in the Garden at one time, although if you're on the Garden, a 6th one will also queue up and just be hidden until another one is accepted or declined. Each Visitor has a Garden level requirement, as well as other requirements, which must be met before they can visit the player's Garden. Visitors can visit multiple times.
There are 84 unique visitors currently available, granting up to 84 ☘ Farming Fortune using the Green Thumb.
Certain Visitors have requirements before they can visit your Garden. However, all requirements except for Garden Level are disabled on the ☀ Stranded game mode.
Visitors come with a rarity tag. The higher the rarity of a Visitor, the rarer it is to have them visit. They can be:
- UNCOMMON (73.17% / 1/1.3666)
- RARE (21.95% / 3/13.666)
- LEGENDARY (4.39% / 3/68.33)
- MYTHIC (0.439% / 3/683.3)
- SPECIAL (0.0439% / 3/6833)
Finnegan's Blooming Business perk increases the chance for rarer visitors to appear on your Garden by 20%. [More Info Needed]

Requests[]
When visiting, Visitors will request varying amounts of certain items. Some Visitors will always request items crafted from a certain crop, or other specific items. Other Visitors will request any crop, or multiple types of items.
The requested items will be compacted or non-compacted version of the Visitor's Wanted Items.
Base | Derivatives | Item Quantity Multiplier |
---|---|---|
Wheat | ×1 | |
Carrot | ×3.5 | |
Potato | ×3 | |
Pumpkin | ×0.85 | |
Sugar Cane | ×2 | |
Melon | ×4 | |
Cactus | ×1.5 | |
Cocoa Beans | ×1 | |

Wool | ×1 | |
Compost | Compost | ×1 |
Jack o' Lantern | Jack o' Lantern | ×1 |
Milk Bucket | Milk Bucket | ×1 |
The quantity of the items that a Visitor requests is determined by this formula:
is first decided by the number of raw items the Visitor's request, which are then compacted into higher material tiers as many times as possible. If the amount of remaining materials that cannot be compacted is less than 10% of the raw items, then the amount of compacted items will be increased by 1.
The number of raw items are determined by a random number based on the player's Garden Level:
- Garden I: 500-1,000
- Garden II: 1,250-2,500
- Garden III: 2,000-4,000
- Garden IV: 5,000-10,000
- Garden V: 10,000-20,000
- Garden VI: 20,000-40,000
- Garden VII: 30,000-60,000
- Garden VIII: 40,000-80,000
- Garden IX: 50,000-100,000
- Garden X: 70,000-140,000
- Garden XI: 75,000-150,000
- Garden XII: 80,000-160,000
- Garden XIII: 85,000-170,000
- Garden XIV: 90,000-180,000
- Garden XV: 95,000-190,000
is then multiplied by , which varies based on the requested item.
is determined by the Visitor's Rarity:
- UNCOMMON: ×1
- RARE: ×1.5
- LEGENDARY: ×3
The quantity of the items that the Spaceman requests is determined by the amount of that item that sells to an NPC for as close to 1,000,000,000 coins as possible.
Rewards[]
Visitors offer Farming XP, Garden XP, Copper, and Bits to the player if they accept the Visitor's request. Certain Visitors will also give unique rewards to the player and override the amount of Farming XP and Copper given as rewards.
Farming XP is determined with this formula: [Confirm] ( is from the Requests formula)
is determined by the Visitor's Rarity:
- UNCOMMON: ×0.05
- RARE: ×0.06
- LEGENDARY: ×0.75
Garden XP is determined with this formula: :
is determined by the player's Garden level:
- Garden I: +2 Garden XP
- Garden II: +3 Garden XP
- Garden III: +3 Garden XP
- Garden IV: +4 Garden XP
- Garden V: +5 Garden XP
- Garden VI: +6 Garden XP

- Garden XI: +15 Garden XP
- Garden XII: +15 Garden XP

- Garden XV: +15 Garden XP
The Garden XP is then multiplied by , which is determined by the Visitor's Rarity:
- UNCOMMON: ×1
- RARE: ×2
- LEGENDARY: ×5
- SPECIAL: ×5
Copper is determined with this formula: ( and are from the Requests formula)
is determined by the Visitor's Rarity:
- UNCOMMON: ×1
- RARE: ×1
- LEGENDARY: ×5
A visitor will always give the player at least 2 Copper.
Bits is set at 5 bits, and is then affected by the player's Fame rank Bits multiplier. This is not affected by visitor rarity or garden level. The player also does not need a cookie buff for these bits.
All Visitors also have a chance to give one of the following items:
- Flowering Bouquet (2%)
- Overgrown Grass (0.1%)
- Green Bandana (0.4%, RARE Visitors and above only)
Visitor's Logbook[]
The Visitor's Logbook keeps track of who has visited the player's Garden, and requirements for NPCs to visit.
Dialogue[]
Visitors sometimes talk to each other, in a manner similar to Minion Dialogue. When one asks the other what time it is, the response will change in real time. It displays the current SkyBlock Time to the minute, unlike the scoreboard. They can also talk about weather based on the season, make character based complaints, and play games with each other.
SkyMart[]
SkyMart is a shop accessible through the Desk. It allows the player to purchase Farming-related Equipment, Tools, Barn Skins and more. Most of the items are purchased with Copper, but coins and SkyBlock Gems are also used as currencies.
Garden Milestones[]
Farming Experience obtained from Garden Milestones is not affected by ☯ Farming Wisdom.
Crop Milestones[]
Crop Milestones can be reached by harvesting certain amounts of crops. When milestones are reached, they grant Garden XP, Farming XP, and SkyBlock XP. Crop Milestones can only be leveled up while farming on The Garden. Any crops broken outside The Garden will not count towards this milestone (Private Island, Barn, etc.).
Crop Milestones have 46 tiers per crop.
Visitor Milestones[]
There are 2 types of Visitor Milestones:
- Unique Visitors Served, which increases based on the amount of offers from unique Visitors the player has accepted
- Offers Accepted, which increases based on the amount of offers from Visitors the player has accepted
Both grant Garden XP, Farming XP, and SkyBlock XP when milestones are reached.
