Tutorial:Pumpkin/Melon Farm

This tutorial is a guide to making a farm is meant for  Pumpkins or  Melons. It has been designed by the Farming Council, whose discord server can be found here.

Construction

This build has been designed to be 5 plots long. No launch pads are involved in this design.

Requirements

Tools

•  InfiniDirt™ Wand
•  Builder's Ruler
•  Prismapump
•  Basket of Seeds

Items

• 202.5 stacks (12960x items) of seeds (pumpkin/melon)
• 4.5 stacks (288x items) of a transparent block (preferably glass)
• 12x stairs

Building

1. Place 2 temporary blocks, then use your  Builder's Ruler to place 4 lines of dirt next to them. Then use your Builder's Ruler to place 2 more lines on top of the temporary blocks.
2. Remove the temporary blocks, and repeat this 2 more times above, with a 2 block gap between.
3. Make 2 more columns of this with a 1 block gap between each one.
4. Place a temporary block on the right of each transparent block, then use your Builder's Ruler to place dirt on top of it.
5. Remove all temporary blocks. Use your Builder's Ruler to place a line of dirt on the left side with a 1 block gap between it and the closest column.
6. Use your Prismapump on the lines of glass. Wait for each line to finish placing before placing the next row, otherwise water will stop flowing on your garden. Place water sources on the same layer as the upper block on the right.
7. Use your  Hoe of Greatest Tilling to till the blocks at the edges of the lines.
8. Use your Basket of Seeds to place either pumpkin or melon seeds.
9. Create a preset of the plot it is on, and paste it to the 4 other plots in the row.
10. On side 1, remove 2 blocks deep on the middle column.
11. In the left and right columns, remove the second block back on the middle layer in the walkway, and make a wall on the first block.
12. Place stairs on the second row in the middle column, walking up from the bottom layer to the top layer of the left column. Remove the last block in the walking path on the top layer.
13. On the second row in the middle column, place a wall for the top 2 layers, and on the first row, place a wall for the bottom layer. On the second row back on the left column, place a wall of dirt in front of the stairs, so you stop on the walking path.
14. On side 2, remove 2 blocks deep on the left column.
15. Remove the second block back on the walking path on the middle layer of the middle column, and the top layer of the right column. Place walls of dirt on the end of the walking paths in those 2 columns.
16. Place stairs walking up from the bottom layer of the left column to the top layer of the middle column.
17. Remove the first block on the top layer of the left column in the walking path. On the second row in the left column, place a wall for the top 2 layers, and on the first row, place a wall for the bottom layer. On the second row back on the middle column, place a wall of dirt in front of the stairs, so you stop on the walking path.
18. Set your garden spawn at the start of the farm (top layer, right column, side 1) with a yaw of 90 or -90, and a pitch of 30. Set a hotkey to /warp garden. When you reach the end of the farm (bottom layer, right column, side 2) press your warp hotkey to go back to the start of the farm.
