The Valkyrie is a LEGENDARY Sword. It is one of four refined 
Necron's Blade variants, alongside the Hyperion, Astraea and Scylla. The Valkyrie's strength when compared to the other Necron's Blade variants is its additional 30 ⫽ Ferocity and 10 ✎ Intelligence, though it loses 5 ❁ Strength.
The Valkyrie also grants +1 ❁ Damage and +1 ❁ Strength per 
Catacombs level of the player. As with any Necron's Blade, it deals +50% damage to Withers.
It is often regarded as the best weapon in the game for ⫽ Ferocity, and one of the best for melee DPS (Damage Per Second), making it ideal for Berserk.
Crafting
It costs 
8x Diamante's Handles surrounding a Necron's Blade or other refined versions of it. These Precursor Relics drop from 
The Watcher's Giant in Floor VII, 
The Diamond Giant.
Usage
It can be crafted into another Necron's Blade variant using the corresponding recipe, keeping all enchantments and upgrades, though the Precursor Relics used in the recipe are consumed.
Trivia
- The name is a reference to Old Norse Mythology, meaning "Chooser of the Slain". Valkyries are Warrior Maidens under the service of the Allfather God Odin, who would bring half of the fallen heroes in battle, chosen personally by Odin, to Valhalla, Odin's castle located in Asgard, the realm of the Gods. There, they could live an afterlife of luxury as Einherjars, meaning "once fighters", in preparation to serve as Odin's forces against the Ragnarök, the great war that would bring forth the end of the world.
