Weapons are used to fight various Mobs or in PvP.

There are two main weapon classes:

  • Swords - This includes any melee / magical weapon.
  • Bows - all of which require some kind of ammunition in the inventory/Quiver.

The type of weapon you choose can change what Enchantments and Reforging can be used on it.

Swords


Wooden Sword.png

A Sword is any melee Weapon which has a Sword tag, regardless of its shape or ability. They can be enchanted and reforged to modify their Stats/effectiveness.

Sword Upgrades

Sword upgrades are upgrades that can be applied to any sword in the game. Sword upgrades include things such as Enchantments, Hot Potato Books, and reforges. Due to their cost, expensive enchantments like Sharpness VI and Ender Slayer VI should only be used on late-game weapons or better, such as the Midas Sword, Pigman Sword and Aspect of the Dragons.

It is recommended to max out top-tier end-game swords such as the Midas Sword, Pigman Sword when used with a high level Pigman Pet, Aspect of the Dragons when used with a high level Ender Dragon Pet, and Emerald Blade when used with a purse of at least 250 million Coins.

Some pets, such as the Ender Dragon Pet, can increase a weapon's damage output. For example, the Blaze Pet doubles all hot potato book effects.

Ability Damage.pngAbility Damage is the damage dealt through any given item or weapon when using its ability.

Increasing Base Ability Damage

Having a high intelligence can increase the ability damage of items in the game.

The Sheep Pet can increase ability damage from 0 to 50 depending on the level. The ability goes up in terms of 0.5 per level.

The Loving reforge obtained from the Red Scarf Reforge Stone can increase ability damage by 5% when applied to chestplates.
