Weapons are used to fight various Mobs or in PvP.

There are two main weapon classes:

  • Swords - This includes any melee / magical weapon.
  • Bows - all of which require some kind of ammunition in the inventory/Quiver.

The type of weapon you choose can change what Enchantments and Reforging can be used on it.

Swords


Wooden Sword

A Sword is any melee Weapon which refers to any item that has a Sword tag, regardless of its shape and ability. They can be enchanted and reforged to modify their Stats/effectiveness.

Sword Upgrades

Sword upgrades are upgrades that can be applied to any sword in the game. Sword upgrades include things such as Enchantments, Hot Potato Books, and reforges. Expensive enchantment like Sharpness VI and Ender Slayer VI should only be used on later-game weapons or higher, such as the Midas Sword, and Aspect of the Dragons, due to their cost.

It is recommended to max out top-tier end-game swords such as the 50mil Midas, Aspect of the Dragon, when used with a high level Ender Dragon Pet, and Emerald Blade, when used with a purse of at least 250 million coins, as there aren't any better swords to obtain, so the only way to increase weapon damage is through upgrades.

Like with the Ender Dragon Pet, some pets can upgrade a weapons damage output. For example, the Blaze Pet doubles all hot potato book effects. The effect can be sextupled with Mushroom Armor and quadrupled with Ender Armor.

All vanilla Minecraft swords exist in SkyBlock, although SkyBlock alternatives are almost always better. The wooden version is used in various Minion recipes.

A "Thick Wooden Sword" can be created by applying a Wood Singularity on a normal Wooden Sword which would give it an additional Strength iconStrength +100, although due to its cost and better weapons to apply it on, this is not recommended. A better option would be a Tactician's Sword or Scorpion Foil.

Bow

Bows are ranged Weapons that fire arrows/special ammo from your inventory (or Quiver) which is consumed on use.
