The Wishing Compass is an UNCOMMON item which points players to important locations within the Crystal Hollows.

Obtaining

The player can find  3x Wishing Compass in treasure chests scattered around the Crystal Hollows.

Usage

When the Wishing Compass is used, a line of green particles will appear. These particles make a straight line towards a certain location.

The Compass will point to different locations based on the conditions of the player.

• If the player is in the Goblin Holdout, it will point to the Goblin King. Once the stench effect has been applied it will point to the Goblin Queen's Den.
• If the player is in the Jungle, and does not have a Jungle Key in their inventory, it will point to Odawa. If they do have a Key, it will point to the Jungle Temple.
• If the player is in the Magma Fields, it will point to Khazad-dûm.
• If the player is in the Precursor Remnants, it will point to the Lost Precursor City.
• If the player is in the Mithril Deposits, it will point to the Mines of Divan.
• Otherwise, if the player has found all the Gemstone Crystals but has not placed at least one, it will point to the Crystal Nucleus.

Trivia

• There used to be a section of the lore that was a reference to Jack Sparrow's compass from the Pirates of the Caribbean.
  • The lore read: The origin of this unique compass is shrouded in mystery. It is said that it once belonged to the greatest pirates to sail the seas. The bigger mystery is how ended up so far underground.
