Wizard

The Wizard is an NPC who lives on the top floor of the ⏣ Wizard Tower. They claim to be fixing The Wizard Portal, and is replaced with the Wizard's Assistant after completing the Rift Dimension, who functions identically.

I've dedicated much of my life to developing a portal that allows safe passage between our world and this mysterious dimension. Select an option: [And did you succeed?]

After claiming There and Back Again		[NPC] Wizard: In addition to my other pursuits, I engage in novel writing during my leisure. [NPC] Wizard: I've composed a fictional narrative about an adventurer who ventures into the Rift and conquers it. [NPC] Wizard: While it's yet unpublished, I believe it would be fitting for you to have its cover. [NPC] Wizard: Now then, time is of the essence. [NPC] Wizard: I must study this new breach. [NPC] Wizard: Because of your help inside the Rift, once I am done, I will let you use my services for free. [NPC] Wizard: Please return in 3-5 business days!
At The Breach in the Mountain		[NPC] Wizard: Our knowledge of that era is minimal. [NPC] Wizard: But such an aura... [NPC] Wizard: I fear that even if I manage to open the breach, venturing through it would be a grave mistake. [NPC] Wizard: I can tell this is the Era of Kaeman, when he was at the zenith of his power.
		[NPC] Wizard: I am now almost certain that the Breach leads to the Past. [NPC] Wizard: But to which point in time...? [NPC] Wizard: I must ascertain the answer!
		[NPC] Wizard: I believe this breach was created by Jythar during the Calamity. [NPC] Wizard: However, I doubt it will permit us to travel that far back. [NPC] Wizard: I suspect someone is altering its destination.
		[NPC] Wizard: I am making progress. [NPC] Wizard: I can now sense a great and formidable evil lurking beyond these threads of time.
[NPC] Wizard: It appears someone else is already utilizing the breach. [NPC] Wizard: I know not who they are, but their understanding exceeds mine!

The Wizard is referenced in Tal Ker's dialogue ("The other day I met some kind of wizard and they told me to come back in 3 to 5 business days. That was over a year ago, still nothing. What kind of people do that? Tells you to come back in a few days for no reason. Really makes you think.")
During Year 189, the name of the Wizard would sometimes show as obfuscated text of 6 letters.
