The Wizard is a NPC in The Catacombs - Floor IV (4)-Floor VII (7) that can be found in a room with books. The first time you interact with him in the run, he will tell you that he has lost his Crystal Ball and that you have to retrieve it for him. The Crystal is located in a hidden lava cavern. After you have given his Crystal Ball back to him, he will grant you a Blessing of Wisdom.

Dialogue

The grammar and spelling mistakes are intentional.

Trivia

• The Wizard's dialogues have some grammar and spelling mistakes.
  • They say "mi" instead of "my" and "i'm".
  • They also lack some commas.
• A gobelin is a French tapestry, although it is possible that the Wizard actually meant "goblin" instead of "gobelin".
• Turning in the Wizard's crystal does not count as one of the four dungeon secrets in the room he spawns in.
