The crafting recipe can be obtained after reaching Hard Stone V ( 150,000x Hard Stone collected). It is crafted by surrounding Flamebreaker Armor with  40x Yoggies.

Tips

• Compared to the Flamebreaker Armor Set it uses as materials, this set has:
  • 5 less ❤ Health
  • 145 less ❈ Defense
  • no base ⸕ Mining Speed (= 100 less ⸕ Mining Speed with 0 Yogs killed)
  • no ☘ Mining Fortune (= 40 less ☘ Mining Fortune)
• but compensates it with:
  • 400 more ⸕ Mining Speed (when the max. amount of Yogs are killed)
  • immunity to the heat effect in ⏣ Magma Fields (compared to the 5x slower heat buildup of the Flamebreaker Armor Set)
  • the addition of a free universal slot replacing the Ruby slot, allowing Topaz gemstones to be applied
• Based on these pros and cons, the Yog Armor is better suited for the Crystal Hollows, and the Flamebreaker Armor is better suited for the Dwarven Mines.
• It is generally not worth spending time maxing out the Yog kills on this armor set, as it will be replaced by  Sorrow Armor and  Armor of Divan, as well as the Bal Pet.

Trivia

• The set bonus is stored on the chestplate.
  • Furthermore, if the chestplate is traded or auctioned, the bonus will transfer over.
• Yog Armor and Sorrow Armor are the only armor sets that have Universal Gemstone Slots.
• Yog Armor, Sorrow Armor and Divan Armor are the only armor sets that can hold Topaz Gemstones.
• It can grant the wearer up to 500 extra ⸕ Mining Speed after 5000 Yogs are killed while wearing this armor set.
• If a piece of Flamebreaker Armor held a Ruby gemstone before being upgraded to Yog the Ruby will stop granting stats. The gemstone will be available to be claimed for free in the Gemstone Grinder.
